The North Valley Food Bank (NVFB) provides free, nutritious food to more than 1,300 people every week through its Whitefish grocery store and mobile pantries across Northwest Montana. As a regional food hub, NVFB also supports rural food pantries and partner organizations throughout the area. Through its community kitchen, NVFB transforms rescued food into meals, processes local food, and provides nutrition education — all while ensuring neighbors facing food insecurity are served with dignity and without judgment.
Competitive Timing hosts the Whitefish Turkey Trot each year, with race proceeds benefiting NVFB. Additional donations to NVFB can be made through this fundraiser at any time. After the race, Competitive Timing will share the total amount raised with participants and provide a check to NVFB.
