Refund Policy

Who sets the policy

regPlanit is a marketplace — each race's refund policy is set by its Race Director. The Race Director's published refund policy (shown on the race's public registration page and in your confirmation email) controls whether your registration is refundable, by when, and how to request a refund.

How to request a refund

  1. Find the race's published refund policy on its registration page.
  2. Contact the Race Director using the email they list on the race page or in your confirmation email. They have full control over approving or denying your refund.
  3. If approved, the Race Director (or regPlanit on their behalf) will process the refund back to the original payment method.

Platform fees

regPlanit's platform processing fee and any third-party payment-processing fees (Stripe, etc.) are non-refundable unless required by applicable law. Race Directors may choose to absorb those fees on refunds at their discretion.

Donations

Charitable donations made through regPlanit are non-refundable except in cases of clear fraud or unauthorized use of a payment method. To dispute a donation, contact info@planitsuite.com within 30 days.

Race cancellations

If a Race Director cancels their event, their cancellation policy (also published on the race page) controls whether participants receive a refund, credit toward a future event, or another remedy. regPlanit will facilitate whatever the Race Director instructs, consistent with these terms and applicable law.

Chargebacks

Before initiating a chargeback with your bank or card issuer, please contact the Race Director and regPlanit support — most issues resolve quickly through a refund or correction. Chargebacks initiated without first contacting us may delay resolution and risk fees on the Race Director's account.
