Terms of Service

regPlanit (operated by PlanitSuite, hereafter "we," "us," "regPlanit," or the "Platform") provides an online event-registration platform that lets endurance- event organizers ("Race Directors") sell registrations, accept donations, and manage their participants. By using regPlanit you agree to these Terms.

You must be at least 18 years old (or the age of majority where you live) to create an account. Parents or guardians may register minors for events but must accept these Terms on the minor's behalf and sign the event's waiver.

• Participants: buy registrations and may make donations.
• Race Directors: sell registrations, set pricing, refund policies, waivers, and event rules.
• Partners: business entities that operate one or more races with regPlanit; partners may set partner-wide defaults inherited by their races.
• regPlanit: the technology platform that hosts the events, processes payments through Stripe, calculates and remits sales tax centrally as the marketplace facilitator, and delivers transactional email.

Payments are processed by Stripe under their Services Agreement. regPlanit's platform fee is disclosed at checkout and is included in the total amount charged. Race Directors may absorb or pass through the fee at their discretion.

regPlanit operates as a marketplace facilitator under U.S. state law. Where required, regPlanit collects sales tax on taxable transactions and remits it to the appropriate state authority. Race Directors are not responsible for collecting or remitting sales tax on transactions processed through regPlanit.

Refund eligibility is governed by each Race Director's published refund policy and by our platform-wide Refund Policy. Processing fees are non-refundable unless required by applicable law.

When you register for an event, you may be required to sign a waiver presented by the Race Director. The waiver is a contract between you and the Race Director; regPlanit stores it but is not a party to it. You represent that any content you submit is accurate and that you have the right to submit it.

You agree not to:

• Use regPlanit to host or sell registrations for illegal activities.
• Provide false information about yourself, your event, or your business.
• Misuse another user's account or payment method.
• Reverse-engineer, scrape, or interfere with the platform's operation.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, that pose risk to other users or to Stripe, or that have unresolved disputes. We will give reasonable notice when feasible.

The platform is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, regPlanit is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for any loss arising out of event cancellations, participant injuries, or actions taken by Race Directors.

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be posted here with a new "Last updated" date and, where appropriate, communicated via email. Continued use of the platform after a change constitutes acceptance.
